I loaded up my shopping partner in crime and we headed to our local Sam’s club to check out the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes they carry. However, what’s a trip to Sam’s without checking out some of the other goodies and stocking up on much needed travel items. One of the things I love about Sam’s club, I find great deals on food, beauty products and so much more. Today, though, I was shopping for our upcoming 9 day trip to Orlando. That means it was time for some snack shopping and of course the necessities like my favorite make up remover wipes. So off to Sam’s we went..
I may have dropped my jaw a little at the line in front of Sam’s club for gas, tropical storm Isaac definitely made people prepare. Before I could shop I definitely needed a little fuel, so the girl and I grabbed two hot dog combos for less than $4.00, I love when you have a good deal on lunch! I noticed right away they are already putting the Christmas stuff out…are we skipping Halloween this year :). After some fuel for the body we grabbed our buggy and headed over to the health and beauty section. I was on a mission….a mission to find makeup wipes…a mission to find the brand I love, Neutrogena. I have used their facial cleansing wipes for years and they are by far the best I have personally used (I can’t say it will be the same for you but I hope it is).

I’ve always bought my Neutrogena makeup remover wipes at one of the biggest mass retailers without a second thought…until now. The first thing I noticed was there are 100 wipes in the box which means I would need to go to the store less often. After some using my nifty math skills AKA my iPhone calculator I noted that I was paying much less when I bought these at Sam’s instead of the other store. At the other store, they were $4.97 (this is my local price, yours may vary) per package. At Sam’s they come to $3.47 a box! That’s $1.50 per package savings!! That’s definitely some #HealtyValues I’d say!
After grabbing up a box of Neutrogena makeup remover wipes I headed through Sam’s to pick up the rest of my items. Veggie chips, Gum, Snacks for a road trip, a hairstyle magazine…all necessities you see! My little helper wanted to make sure I knew one of the things she wanted for Christmas and insisted I take a picture. I happily obliged, after all, one can never have too many photos of the kiddos.
After checking out we headed home to enjoy some family time together. When the end of my day came it was time to “take the day off” otherwise known as my makeup and out came the Neutrogena facial wipes
What I love about these is there are 25 in each individual pack and they are perfect for traveling. I have taken these to every social media event I have traveled to because they are great to rid your face of the makeup. I usually wash my face first and then follow with the wipes to take off anything left behind. You’d really be surprised to find that washing doesn’t always get every little thing. I’ve noticed that these are by far (in my opinion) the best eye makeup remover wipes out there. In the past I would always use a towel or washcloths with a liquid makeup remover which left stains on my towels and washcloths. Once I started using Neutrogena makeup remover wipes my towels have been saved and my face is getting clean.
These wipes leave my face feeling fresh and even moisturized. I have heard others say it felt greasy but to me it feels no different than my face feels after applying a lotion. I haven’t tried that brand yet, but I always bring wipes when I travel. It’s so much easier than lugging along face wash!
