Here in the south we LOVE our southern sweet tea. I am not talking about the sweet tea that you get in the north, where they bring you unsweet tea and you try to dissolve sugar granules or resort to some artificial sweetener. No way, I am talking about bonafide southern sweet tea! You make the tea, add the sugar to the hot tea, then add cold water and ice. Today I am sharing with you how to make the perfect southern sweet tea recipe. This definitely isn’t for the faint of heart…this is for someone who loves sugary sweet tea that makes you know you are in the south!

Seriously, the easiest way to make southern sweet tea! S0, now that you have the recipe, you will want to serve your southern sweet tea in glasses worthy of tea time, which is why I love that I can serve my sweet tea to friends in Luigi Bormioli. I received some more goodies and I just knew two of them would be the perfect accessory for Southern Sweet Tea.
The Crescendo Barrel Pitcher and Thermic Beverage are perfect for serving my southern sweet tea to guests during the hot summer days.
The pitcher is perfect for making almost a gallon of sweet tea, to enjoy inside or maybe at a backyard picnic. The Crescendo Pitcher is Handmade and lead-free. I love that it is elegant enough for any entertaining need. This beautifully designed serving piece is a perfect complement to Luigi Bormioli’s Crescendo stemware and barware and a great addition to any table setting, casual or fancy.
Now, the thermic beverage glass, is possibly one of the coolest looking glasses I have seen. Appealing to the eye, is great, but what’s truly awesome about this beverageware is it’s part of the thermic collection. Luigi Bormioli’s thermic collection is both microwave and dishwasher safe. The glasses will maintain the hot or cold temperature of drinks, while the double wall design prevents condensation to the outer surface. I love that my hands won’t get “sweaty” and my iced tea will stay cold! Plus it looks super chic when you are drinking out of it.
So, the next time you have a get together, do it right and serve up true southern sweet tea, but make sure you are serving it right in Luigi Bormoili! Watch next week for my super simple iced coffee recipe, featuring another favorite LB product!
About Luigi Bormioli:
Luigi Bormioli was founded in 1946 by Mr. Luigi Bormioli. The company has a commitment to great design, which is accomplished by combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with new-age glassmaking technology to create high quality and beautiful glassware. When you glance at it, it definitely rivals fine crystal, but it’s lead-free and best of all it’s affordable and widely available.
This perfect for summer sangria recipe has been sponsored by Luigi Bormioli Italian glassware but all opinions expressed here are my own.

I love sweet tea!! It’s like water here in Oklahoma, especially during the summer. I am loving that beautiful pitcher too!
It’s such a thing (I’m from the South too!) that as it gets hotter the tea must get sweeter. I love your pitcher too.
