Over Labor Day weekend, some family and friends decided it was a great time to visit and when we visit, food is always in the mix. As part of a campaign, I decided to make some gooey dishes for my friends and family to enjoy!
The day before the party I made some brownies as part of a “test”. Day old brownies leave lots of stuck on goodies, that are usually a pain to clean off. The day of the party I took on homemade Mac and Cheese. It’s a completely different experience when it’s homemade. With real cheese, milk, and a lot of other yummy ingredients, homemade mac and cheese, is definitely a different experience than the boxed stuff. Not just a different experience in taste, but the dishes take dirty to a whole new level.
The task was to showcase how we can make our favorite stuck on foods and skip the pre-wash…wait, what???. No pre-wash for these:
Platinum was going to cut my after party work down, wait….what? Cascade Platinum allows the clean up process to go a little faster thanks to being able to skip the pre-wash. That means more time spent with family and friends. In fact, to get the cleanest clean, you need the stuck on food residue, because the special enzymes need something to latch onto. If there is nothing to attach to, the Cascade isn’t going to be doing it’s best for you! It even works on 24-hour stuck on food!
Of course to get the cleanest clean, you want to make sure to follow these tips on load perfection, provided by Cascade:
After everyone got their food, we loaded the dishes into my aunts dishwasher. We added in a Cascade Platinum packet and the Cascade Platinum rinse aid to the resevoire. Aside from removing a few HUGE chunks, we did nothing to the dishes! I fully admit to cringing!
While the dishwasher ran, it gave us time to visit and wonder if Cascade Platinum would be up to the task. Starchy, gooey cheese and day old brownie…those are toughies! When the cycle was over and bellies were full it was time to see how well Cascade Platinum really worked!
You would have never known just a few hours before, there were chunks of cheese and a gooey mess. The glass pans came out crystal clean, the utensils showed no sign of usage, and the pot was as clean as the day we bought it. Not only did it clean the dishes…check out my aunts dishwasher before and after!
I am super excited (as will be my kids) that with Cascade Platinum, there is now less work involved in party or daily dish clean up! My guests were excited and amazed too, so they were thrilled to get to take home a tip sheet, Cascade Platinum pods, and the rinse aid! A big thanks to Cascade for that, it sure made all of them smile. Here are a few of them:
