Palm Beach Zoo’s “Brew at the Zoo”: Saturday, April 1, 5:30p-9:00p: Hope you got your ticket for this because it’s sold out this year. It’s sure to be a fun event, and I can’t wait to see the photos you have as you share them on Twitter and Instagram.
“Roseate Spoonbills in Florida Bay: A Pink Canary in a Coal Mine” by Dr. Jerry Lorenz: Thursday, April 6, 6:00p-8:00p You’re invited to the final award-winning Conservation Leadership Lecture Series event of 2017! The evening includes a cocktail hour featuring hors d’oeuvres, and awesome animal encounters. Take part as Florida Bay expert and State Research Director for Audubon Florida, Dr. Jerry Lorenz, takes you on a journey with one of Florida’s most recognizable species, the Roseate Spoonbill. Breakfast with the Bunny (April 8, 9, 15 from 8:30a -10:00a) –This family-friendly event will be a highly for kids. It sells out fast so be sure to get your tickets. At Palm Beach Zoo Breakfast with the bunny, you get to enjoy a hot breakfast buffet in the Lakeside Tropics Cafe, have an adventure with up-close animal encounters, get your photo with the Easter Bunny and more. Party for the Planet: Saturday, April 22, 11:00a – 2:00p – Find out what steps you can take that will make a difference for animals all over the world. Palm Beach Zoo “Party for the Planet” will teach, engage and have fun activities for everyone in the family. Some of the activities include eco-friendly crafts and face painting. Activities are free with zoo admission.
Food Truck Safari: Saturday, April 22, 4:30p – 9:00p – Enjoy your favorite wildlife and some great food during Palm Beach Zoo “Food Truck Safari.” Gourmet food trucks will be throughout the zoo, plus there will be two locations with live music and two cash bars. Stacey Konwiser Memorial Save The Tiger 5K: Saturday, May 20, 7:30a – REGISTRATION IS OPEN to Run or Walk on May 20th! Proceeds from this run/walk help to support the Wildlife Conservation Society atEndau Rompin National Park in Malaysia to protect tigers (did you know there are fewer than 250 Malaysian tigers left in the wild) and their habitat. As you take part in the run, you will go directly past the Tiger River habitat. Every runner gets a tech-style, short-sleeve, polyester, running shirt available in men’s and women’s sizes.
