Why The Nextbook 10.1 Tablet Is The Perfect Gift For Anyone + Giveaway #UnwrapINTEL #sp

Nextbook 10.1

We are a tech-loving family, so when I was approached by lunchbox to do a review of the Nextbook 10.1 2-in-1 tablet, I didn’t hesitate. What I love about this tablet is how easily it transforms from a super portable tablet to a full on PC notebook!

What you will get in the box:

With a 10.1″ display, the Nextbook is not your small tablet.  This tablet/PC combination, with Intel inside, is perfect for on the go, school needs, and at the office (home or otherwise).  It comes pre-loaded with Windows 8.1 and the detachable, foldable keyboard makes it seem just like your desktop computer, only smaller and portable.  If you are more of a tablet kind of person, the keyboard easily detaches!

For any student or anyone who does a lot of work on their computer, no worries, this comes with a year of Office 365, so you get all those Microsoft goodies.  Not only that, but thanks to the Microsoft store, I can add my favorite apps, games, movies, music, and more with ease! Something that my kids love, is if you have an Xbox live account, you can play your Xbox games right from the Nextbook 10.1!

As I am not super well versed in Windows and PCs, I had my husband give me his thoughts first.  The first thing he mentioned was the speed of the device.  As long as it is charged, almost the minute you open it, you are ready to work or play!  He loved that he could toggle over to the “normal” desktop from the Windows 8 tile screen!

So, no matter which you prefer you are set.  I am still learning my way around it, but I am pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to use. It’s very responsive to touch which is a huge thing for me.  One of the features that really stood out to me, as a tablet lover, was the touchpad.  With my current tablet I can use a keyboard, but when I want to go around the screen I have to actually touch the screen.  With the Nextbook 10.1, the keyboard has a touchpad which allows you to have a mouse on screen.  I almost jumped out of my chair over being so excited about that.  It has always been my one complaint about my current tablet.  Thankfully this new tablet remedies that!

The Nextbook 10.1 comes with plug-in areas and buttons galore.  On one side you have your power button, volume buttons, and your windows button (to get you to your tiles screen in a click).  The other side you have your audio port, power socket, HDMI port (watch those movies on your tv), a microSD slot (to expand the 32GB memory up to 64GB, and a microphone (for those skype and wi-fi calls).
