I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Reebok. I received a Famous Footwear gift card to purchase a pair of Reebok shoes to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.
Did someone say I have a chance to shop for new shoes? Count me in. As part of a campaign I was chosen to be a #ReebokMom, and head to my local Famous Footwear to see what styles they had and pick up some new kicks. Also, since it was back to school time, may as well get the kids their shoes too, after all it was BOGO 1/2 off.
Save some money…why yes I think I will. As I scoured the aisles for my new shoes, I was a little disappointed to find out they didn’t have any women Reebok in stock at this store. I am not sure if it was because the store was very new or what, but thanks to their online ordering, crisis was averted.
We did let my kids pick out some shoes so they are all set for school, but what about mom…Momma needs new shoes too. Not to worry, I was able to go home and order the shoes I wanted AND save even MORE money! As you can see below, I was able to find two pair I absolutely loved (and if you can’t tell I really like bright colors).
They were originally 79.99 each…gulp, BUT, they were on sale for 59.99 each that day. That’s already a savings of $40.00. Then I was able to take advantage of the BOGO 1/2 off so that took another $29.99 off. As if that weren’t awesome enough, at the time I was shopping, there was a back to school special if you were a Famous Footwear rewards member of another 20% off each pair.
Do you realize what that meant?? I saved $87.99!!!!!!! I ended up getting both pair for $81.17 (that includes tax and shipping). I got both pair for less than the original price of one pair (when you added tax and shipping to the original $79.99). I would say that is an amazing deal!
I am trying to get in better shape and the shoes I had before these came in, were the heavier athletic shoes. I was noticing more and more my legs would cramp and hurt after activity and I think it’s because of the weight of my old shoes. I could not wait to see how the new shoes faired. Of course, I don’t want to sacrifice cuteness at all, so I was thrilled with the Reebok shoes I got. Not only do they support my feet, are lightweight, and very breathable…they are super cute. So even when I am not running I can pair them with shorts and feel fashionable and fun.
I love the bright colors…don’t you? Back to school for us is sheer craziness and all about the kids clothes, shoes, and supplies, so this year it was nice to treat myself a little too. Famous Footwear has the slogan “Victory Is Yours”, after the savings I had and the fun new shoes I got, I definitely felt like victory was mine. They had the best sale this weekend with the BOGO and 20% off for rewards members. Unfortunately no one needed shoes. I’ve had to switch to orthepedic shoes and am working on getting the right pair.
