I have a new beauty routine product that my skin is thanking me for, the Soniclear by Michael Todd. What is the Soniclear and why do I love it so much? The Soniclear is, according to the company, the world’s first antimicrobial skin cleansing system. That means my skin is getting top notch care! When I received the product I was excited to get started using it!
In the box came the Soniclear, 2 brushes (a facial brush and body brush), a wall plugin, and the charging dock. Everything you need to get your skin care routine going!
The system comes with two brushes. The facial brush and the body brush. I use the facial brush most of the time, but with summer right around the corner I am definitely going to be using the body brush as well!
The brush heads have built in LIFE antimicrobial product protection, exclusive to Soniclear. The protection does not wash out or wear off for the normal life of the brush heads. That means the brushes stay cleaners and fresher for longer. I loved the grip on the system, it allowed me to hold a good grip even with wet hands. The Soniclear is waterproof so you can use it both in the bath and shower. That is a HUGE plus for me as I love my baths at bedtime and it is perfect time to wash my face with the Soniclear.
With a total of six speeds (3 for the facial brush and 3 for the body brush) you can pick the speed that works best for your skin. The Soniclear handle recognizes which brush you are using so it adjusts accordingly based on the speed you choose. It was easy to change speeds when using the system, I simply pressed the speed button above the power button (see below photo) to pick the speed I wanted.
To cleanse, I wet my face and the brush head with warm water. I use two different facial cleansers, one for night and one for day, so I applied it directly to the brush and got started! You can apply your cleanser directly to your face, if that is your preference. To make sure users get a complete cleansing, Soniclear has a timer to let you know when to move to a new area. I loved that feature! The facial brush has a two minute timer, with a beep every 20 seconds so you know when to change areas. The body brush has a 3 minute timer and give you 60 second beeps. You can start another cycle right away or stop in the middle of the cycle if you completed the cleansing.
After using the Soniclear for the first time, my skin was smoother than it had been in a very long time. My skin is getting dirt and makeup washed away, while the vibration stimulates blood flow which is supposed to bring back elasticity! The Soniclear removes makeup 6x better than washing with hands! After using the system, moisturizers and serums can go deeper into your skin, thanks to the exfoliation and cleansing, which makes them more effective! I will say if you have sensitive skin, you may need to wash regularly one day and use this the next because it can make it more sensitive!
