Make Some Memories At Disney’s Soda Fountain #IronMan3Event

Disney’s Soda Fountain is a Hollywood hotspot and the place to stop if you want to go back in time a little. The staff is dressed to the T in 50’s era uniforms. You walk in and see the what looks like an old fashion ice cream parlor. Seriously, I have always said I wanted to live in the 50’s and this would made me feel like I stepped back in time.

At Disney’s Soda Fountain you can enjoy a few menu items and of course soda, but the big thing (and what all the celebrities go for) are the sweet treats! They serve cones, sundaes, shakes, freezes, malts, floats, and old-time phosphates right at a counter that will make you feel as if you just stepped back in time. Check out some of the celeb photos and memorabilia you can find at Disney’s Soda Fountain

After enjoying a treat at the fountain counter take a stroll around the rest of the shop and check out all the themed merchandise they offer.  It’s such a fun place for a Disney lover like me.  I could have spent all day in there picking up goodies.  I did manage to pick up my Tony Stark t-shirt that I wore to Madame Tussaud’s at Disney’s Soda Fountain.

Disney Soda Fountain

While we were at Disney’s Soda Fountain we found The Disney vault!!! Can you tell how excited we are??

Disney Vault

According to Ed Collins, the general manager, the vault is a little joke they have.

People ask me to talk a little bit about the vault. If you’ve seen the home video marketing campaign, we call it Walt’s Vault, right? It’s the video vault where the videos are kept when they’re not sold. So it was a virtual marketing campaign. When we opened Disney Soda Fountain we teamed up with Home Entertainment to have the real vault at our location in Hollywood.

If you look at the strip of film that rims the ceiling, that actually reflects the DVDs as they came out starting in 2005. We should probably change this up, but we kinda like it like this. A fun thing for our guests is to see how many of these movies they can name.

Okay so it’s not the real vault, but it is a Disney vault none the less and it can be found at the Disney’s Soda Fountain in LA.  Whether you want to pick up some souveniers to take home, enjoy a moment out of the LA sun, or just experience a piece of history, make sure you stop into the world famous Disney’s Soda Fountain the next time you are in LA.   Disney’s Soda fountain can be found at their website, facebook, and twitter (#DisneySodaFtn) for all the latest happenings.

**Thank you to Disney & Marvel for this fun day as part of the #IronMan3Event.  Travel, lodging and activities were covered.  All opinions are my own**
