We love to travel, usually that mean grabbing one of the smaller suitcases we had for each kid. With them all looking the same that meant having to go through them each time. Thanks to the adorable rolling luggage selection from Lillian Vernon, those unknown suitcases are no more. Now it will be easy for us to tell whose suitcase is whose before we open and dig through the clothes. Even the littlest travelers can feel like a big person when on the road, carrying their own luggage. We received the Purple Zebra Rolling Luggage to review and my daughter was beyond thrilled!
The first thing I noticed, and loved, was the bright colors. While Zebra is black and white, the pop of purple thrown in was perfection for my little sassy pants girl. We were thrilled that it can be personalized with a name. Like I said, no more digging through suitcases to figure out whose is whose.
I immediately noticed the awesome amount of pockets on the front of the luggage. My daughter is a techy art girl, which means she likes to lug her kindle, ipad mini, and all her art supplies with her on trips. Thanks to the four pockets on the front of the luggage, she has plenty of room to store her goodies. The zebra pocket has two areas that is perfect for pencils, markers, and/or crayons which is great for her little artist self. The big pocket behind that is great for coloring books so if she doesn’t feel like free handing, she is good. The very front pocket is the perfect size for her Kindle Fire and iPad mini plus the chargers. She sits in the third row of our Honda Pilot and while it doesn’t have enough room for much luggage, this is the perfect size to fit behind the seat or even at her feet.
With the luggage being on the small side, you might think nothing is going to fit in there. Well take packing tips from the pro! When you go somewhere you don’t need a bunch of clothes for kids. Chances are you are going somewhere they are going to be wearing their swimsuits and even if not, all kids need is two pair of shorts, one pair of tennis shoes, and a shirt for each day. That really doesn’t take up that much room. I found I was able to fit enough outfits for a 7 day trips very comfortably in her luggage. They may be small but if you know how to pack, they have more than enough room.

I love the purple. My daughter would not like the zebra print because she loves animals and I try to tell her that it’s fake, but she insists that it promotes using animal skin to make “things.” I think these would be great carry-ons for traveling internationally because they are so strict with the size these days!
