Infinity Falls: World’s Tallest River Rapid Drop Ride Coming To SeaWorld Orlando Summer 2018

Sea World Infinity Falls

If you like thrill rides, then you are going to be amped up for the newest addition coming to SeaWorld Orlando. They announced, just recently, that in the summer of 2018, they are bringing, Infinity Falls, the world’s tallest river rapid drop ride to their park. After watching the video and reading all that it is going to offer I have a feeling our family will have to make a trip down to the Orlando area.

SeaWorld Orlando Infinity Falls Ride

When guests take on Infinity Falls at SeaWorld, they will be immersed in a lush, freshwater rainforest all the while learning about the importance of water conservation.

“Water makes up more than 70% of our planet,” said Brian Morrow, Vice President of Theme Park Design Experience. “We developed Infinity Falls to tell new stories that showcase the beauty and sheer power of water and the amazing wildlife that lives in it. The result is a new river rapids adventure for our guests to explore, and actively help freshwater ecosystems in a way that only SeaWorld can bring to life.”

Riders will experience a unique elevator lift to take them to the world’s tallest drop on a river raft ride. It’s family friendly so all ages (that meet the 42-inch height requirement) can enjoy the ride. With the ride comes a new village to explore and actively participate in helping freshwater ecosystems right from inside the park. Cool!

The Story Behind Infinity Falls

Story Not long ago, a drone sent to explore the jungles of South America discovered previously uncharted structures in a remote area along the banks of a freshwater river. A group of explorers and scientists were sent to investigate the discovery. Upon arrival, they set up base camp near an abandoned structure. They studied and explored the river, falling in love with its power and the nature living along its banks. Inspired by the river, they developed a sustainable camp for others to visit and explore so they too could learn more about the jungle and how their connection to the waters of the world.

The Infinity Falls River Rapids ride is more than 4 minutes long, and the track is 1,520 linear feet. The elevator lift is the first of it’s kind in North America and will take riders to a drop height of 40 feet, which makes Infinity Falls the tallest river raft ride drop in the world!! Riders must be 42-inches tall, and each raft is designed with an expedition them and can hold 8 passengers! Check out a video all about Infinity Falls

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get down to SeaWorld and try out Infinity Falls once it opens. Will you be heading to check out the new ride when it opens?
