Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare Review & Giveaway (WINNER ANNOUNCED)

I have two boys who love to rough house around and enjoy toys that go fast, so when I was reached out to and asked if I would like to review the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare I didn’t have to think twice. My boys didn’t know so it was a big surprise when they woke up and saw an assembled loop with some Hot Wheels cars ready to go. Fast cars….yes, please! They had a few of their cousins over to spend the night so it was exciting for them to wake up to fun and fast cars.

I woke up early to secretly assemble the Double Dare Snare. Usually assembling and I do not go well together but I was able to get it assembled with only one questioning moment. I was pretty proud of myself. I got it all set up on the table so when the boys started rousing they would see it. One by one they started waking up and at first no one noticed the awesome new toy. Was I going to have to play with this myself? Nope in a passing moment a head turned and saw what I claim to be the orange work of art. “Mom, what is this?” and the fun began, well, after our breakfast of muscle car milk and hot wheel waffles.

The boys had a blast! I will say it was a little tricky figuring out which cars worked well and which did not. For us, the heavier cars seemed to work better. The lighter cars either had too much power and flew right off the track or not enough power to make it around the loop. So if you are planning on picking up the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare you may want to test out different cars. A fun little tidbit you may want to keep in mind…Hot Wheels is bringing the Double Dare Snare™ track set to life at this year’s X Games Los Angeles on June 30th. The anticipated Double Loop Dare is a six-story tall, dual vertical loop that will pair two Team Hot Wheels drivers together, placing them into a never-before-seen upside down challenge. The stunt is set to be the biggest thrill of the summer! You can watch it live on ABC beginning at 11:20 PDT on Saturday, June 30th. My boys are ready to watch!
