I am not the only fashionista in my house, my daughter loves fashion just as much as I do. Not only does she love fashion like I do, but she loves to share tips about fashion…just like me. So, we had the chance to invite some friends over and showcase some of the outfits we picked up from OshKosh for back to school. We also got to share with them some of the top trends that will be in for this school year. Before I share with you all the awesome trends that will be in this year, let me show you a few on my daughter…who obviously was more than willing to be my model!
First up are dresses, she is going to be rocking dresses this year and this one we found at our local Osh osh store, was too cute to pass up! The embroidery is gorgeous!
While it’s fun to be girly, with a dress, sometimes she wants to feel a little more casual so we love the selection of t-shirts, skirts, shorts, and pants that are available. Obviously, she likes casual chic (simple dressy) with a t-shirt and skirt!
Now, it’s not fair for me to just share with friends, the fashion trends for this year, so today I am sharing with you the Top 10 Fashion Trends OshKosh shared with me. It’s only fair that your kids be back to school ready too!
- Denim! This is one of my favorite trends because it’s always such a classic! Denim is a heritage of OshKosh! With plenty to choose from for both girls (denim skirts, shirts, jackets) and boys (skinny jeans or classic fit denim pants), no one is left out. My daughter is dying for overalls and now that OshKosh goes up to size 12, we are covered for a few years!
- Girls TLC – Tunics & Leggings Collection. If you are like us, you are between sizes when it comes to pants and shorts. That’s why we love this trend. OshGosh has such great clothes. I have always been a fan. I love that their clothes are trendy while still being modest.
In Trinidad, we wear standard uniforms. It’s boring, but it works. Even the teachers have Polo Shirts with the school’s emblem on it. We don’t have to wear them everyday, but it’s an option.

Those are some of the cutest clothes. If I had a little girl, I would definitely go to OshKosh! I wore them as a kid, and they made some of the cutest clothes back then too.
