Get Ready To Get Bold With Revlon’s Expression Experiment #Revlon

We all know how much Toni loves makeup, so I was thrilled to take part in the Revlon Expression Experiment.  What is the Expression Experiment?  Very simply, for me, it was stepping out of my comfort zone and into the bold and bright eyeshadow, lipstick, and nail polish colors sent to me in my kit.

I have to admit I was a bit scared when I saw the colors.  While I have a problem of hoarding makeup, I have played it pretty safe most of my life until very recently when I started to go a little more bold in the color are.  I went bold with different colors of eye shadow but the red lipstick in the kit had me shaking in my imaginary boots.  However I grabbed the kit and headed to the bathroom to create my bold look, red lipstick and all.  Check out these bright colors:

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to pull of the look, because before red and I never mixed.  Neither did darker color shadows.  What I learned was when paired with the right colors both can be beautiful and even fun.  The look was easy to create and for the photo you will see in a moment I went a little lighter since it was daytime, you can still tell they are bold and fun colors.

I started my routine with mosturizer, followed by makeup primer, which I love…makeup primer is a must.  It really gets your skin ready and is a great way to help set your makeup.  After my primer I used my favorite foundation, followed by a powder to set it, then colored my cheeks up with some blush and then the bold began.  I used the quad eyeshadow that has the teal, white, green and navy color you see above.  In the past I have always looked as if I had a black eye when using dark colors.  Not with this.  After the eyes it was onto the BOLD RED lips and it really complimented the eye look.  Overall I have to say I LOVE that Revlon helped me to Express myself in such a BOLD way.
