Valentine’s Looks From Cookie’s Kids #CookiesKids

Cookie's Kids Fashion is a big part of my life which in turn means it is a big part in my little girls life. I made it a part of my boys life as long as I could but they finally got to “grown up” and a lot more picky. Thankfully my daughter loves to have fun with her fashion and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it was the perfect time to get her a few Valentine’s Day looks from Cookie’s Kids. What is Cookie’s Kids….glad you asked!

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.

As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.

By the late 1990’s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.

This definitely sounds like a company I can stand behind!  Not only can you shop online, but Cookie’s Kids has 7 stores in the NYC area in Bronx, Brooklyn, and Jamaica.  Since I don’t live in any of those places I am taking full advantage of their online shopping.  I really wanted to get her something to wear to her Valentine’s day party at school. I also wanted to make sure she had something perfect for the Sunday after Valentines day at church. She is a little fashionista so as I began shopping I just knew I hit the jackpot. I found shirts, dresses, and shoes galore…

With so many girls dresses to choose from, picking one was quite a task but we did it.  For the Sunday after Valentine’s day she will again rock her black flats with the Dorissa “Alexandra” Dress (no longer available) and will be dressed just like the little princess she is:
