Summer is right around the corner and I’ve been scouring the stores, both online and off, for some fun summer fashions. Here are a few fun summer looks I put together that would be great for the upcoming season.
First up, the looks for her:
A sheer top (with a tank under of course) paired with capri’s or skinny jeans, a fun summer purse, a floppy hat, and sandals that stand out is just the way to go when you want to keep it casual. For a look that can be day or night, beach or date, consider picking up a sundress. Pair with matching accessories like fun pieces from Mialisia Jewelry, an iPhone case, multi-colored ring, and a pretty hair style. You will be a summer stunner! Don’t forget to bring out the bright polish for some fun summer nails to add a bit more pop to your look. Definitely some fun summer looks I would sport!
Next up are the looks for boys. Having two sons I seems to have a harder time shopping for them than the girl, but lucky for me The Children’s Place has quite a bit to choose from. Here are two looks I created from The Children’s Place line:
Add a little plaid to the look but make sure to keep it simple. If you are go with a plaid style fedora pair it with a plain polo and plaid shorts, you don’t want a plaid hat and top, you want something in between to space out the plaid. If you want to go with plain shorts, grab a button up shirt and fun straw fedora. Straw hats scream summer and they look so adorable when paired with the right look. Don’t forget the deck shoes for the finishing touch on almost any summer look.
Last, but certainly not least, are some fun summer looks for girls. These, too, are from The Children’s Place:
Let her shine like the star she is for July 4th celebrations with the above dress. Bring out her glam side with a headband and the heart glasses we all grew up loving. Gladiator sandals finish off the look perfectly. Go for a brighter look with some bold colors. The halter tank paired with the purple flower skirt is something my daughter would gladly wear. Finish the look with the adorable fedora, aviator glasses and simple sandals.
My favorite fashion season has to be spring/summer. You aren’t stuck wearing long sleeves and jackets and the fun colors are such a great way to be more bold in your fashion picks.
