The time has come to start thinking about what gifts I am going to get for those on my list. I have people who are super easy to shop for and then I have people who are a bit more difficult. One thing I’ve learned in the past is that when I give a personalized gift, it is usually a hit with everyone. So, this year I am hoping to get those on my list something they will cherish forever. Here are a few tips I have for you, this Christmas season, when it comes to gift giving!
- Get Personal. I know my kids have loved personalized gifts in the past, so I will have at least one thing that is personalized for them, under the tree. I love the selection Bright Start Kids has for a perfect personalized gift. Be sure to check out the 15% off (minimum of $30) deal they have going on. More info on that below!
Think they are too small to appreciate the gesture, I bet the parents would love something like this for their little ones
- For parents and grandparent, give something they can showcase. They all love to show off their kids and grandkids, so we love to take family photos and make a collage. We get frames, and give them as gifts at Christmas. It’s personal and they get to show of their kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and so on. My grandpa has the one we gave him last year, in the living room, he definitely loved that gift.
- Let the kids create something. Handmade gifts are a way to this moms heart. When my daughter or sons make something for a gift, it makes me smile and I treasure it so much more than store bought because of the work they put into it. Some of my favorite gifts from them are the little things they make at school during the Christmas season.
- Food. Another personalized gift, that so many love to receive is food. I love to bake during the holidays and giving bags of goodies to friends and families is just a fun (and tasty) way to gift give.
Whether you want to make something yourself or pick something personalized from somewhere like Bright Star Kids, in the end, the personalization and thought will mean the world to the one receiving the gift. For more ideas check out my Personalized Gift Pinterest Board.
