My desktop background is home to may a file folders. I have one for current projects, photos, videos, cheer happenings, contracts, invoices, the list really could go on. I like to stay organized, and calendars are great, I use them all the time. However, when I am on my computer, I like to be able to glance at what I have coming up and that’s where the background I created comes into play! Check out my background (sorry no idea how to get my task bar to go invisible)…You can click on the photo to make open it in full size!
I was so excited when this turned out so cute, because it’s perfect for spring. Next week, I’ll be sharing a tutorial on how easy it is to make these…of course I will make more down the road of different shapes and colors, so check back for free downloads down the road! Today, though I wanted you to be able to get organized right along with me. Hey, we have to spring clean our computers too!!! So, I am offering you this fun background, all you have to do is add the text in your favorite photo editing program!
To use this background, simply right click the image and open in a new window or tab, it will open to a huge size. Save to your computer, then upload to your fave photo editing site (I use picmonkey), add the words you want in the banners and VOILA. Please note, you may need to resize, mine is based on my iMac size (2560 x 1440). Move your folders to the appropiate sections and you have a nice organized desktop or laptop main screen. Tell me that doesn’t make you want to get up and spring clean everything…okay maybe that’s stretching it, but it does make you feel all fancy and organized like. That’s sure to spill outside of the computer at some point…right?

Wow, an ingenious idea! I frequently use calendars (have 3) and planners to stay organized. It doesn’t hurt to go the extra mile, though.
