How often do you put outfit choices in the hands of others? That’s just what I did using searsStyle!
Recently, I headed to Sears to pick out that perfect outfit! Would I find a perfect outfit at Sears?? I’m always buying new clothes for my kids I tend to put myself on the backburner. So I was on a mission, find something that makes me look (and feel) good. This time, though I was putting the final decision in the hands of my faithful instagram followers! I grabbed up my mom, she wanted to have some fashion fun and help me, and we headed out. She had a little bit to say before we went in:
As I arrived in Sears, I got a little sidetracked in the little girls department. Seriously, how cute!
Today, though, was about me! Now you see why I rarely buy for myself…I get so sidetracked with all the cuteness that I can find for my kids. Which just goes to show #searsStyle covers all genders and ages. Focusing my attention back to the task at hand, finding me a little something, I headed to a few different departments. I was like a kid on Christmas. I had so much to choose from, I quickly filled a buggy full of clothes that were cute to the eye.
*Thank you Sears for having buggies*. Now, what looks good on the hanger doesn’t always look good on the body. I ran headed to the dressing room, excited to see these styles my mom and I chose on me. I went through way too many several outfits. I was able to finally narrow it down to my top 4, which was a task in and of itself. Check out the selections my followers had to choose from:
One look my mom completely put together, one look I put together and the other two we collaborated on. How was I going to choose?? Oh wait, I dont’ have to!
Now the fun part, I shared the looks with my Instagram followers to find out which I would be taking home. This just became a bit more easy for me, because I wasn’t going to choose, my lucky Instagram followers got that task. Which would be the winner? I was biting my nails!!! Look 1, look 2, look 3, and look 4…I loved them all but there could only be one winner!
And the winner is…..
Look 2 was it (at the time of this post anyways). As you can see it got 10 votes on Instagram, second place went to Look 1. The outcome was pretty much the same on facebook too. I think the boots sealed the deal, though, for the winning look. I grabbed up my goodies and headed home.
I am ready to rock my new outfit, now I just need a place to rock it! In case you were wondering, that is the look my mom put together by herself LOL. I honestly never knew Sears had this secret…

**Okay let me just say, I may have caved and got
a fewall of the outfits because I loved them that much. That speaks VOLUMES to me about Sears selection. I’m pretty picky, and being able to find a winning outfit AND three runners up to put in my closet is definitely a WIN to me! Not to mention, I got ALL those clothes you saw (and voted on) for less than $200 TOTAL, even includes the shoes and accessories. Thanks to the great in store value and current promotions I got a steal! More for my money…WOO HOO!**
When you are shopping for clothes this holiday season, don’t write Sears off the list! They may have that perfect look (or several) that you want for yourself or to gift at a great price.
