The anticipation, the excitement, and the joy! I remember all the feelings that came with knowing I was going to get a toy in my cereal box, wondering which toy it would be, and how happy I always was to find it! Don’t get me wrong, I loved the cereal, but something about that extra little addition to my morning routine made for some memorable days.
In fact, I may or may not still have a few of those cereal box toys, there is just something that sentimental about them! Some of my favorite toys were the spooky speedster, stickers, mini-figures of my favorite tv/movie characters. I always loved finding those toys!
Now, my kids can experience that same excitement as we gear up for the release of the Minions movie! I love that my kids can get excited not only to enjoy their favorite cereals, but they can hunt down the 7th (and final) minion in the specially marked packages of General Mills Cereal exclusively at Walmart!
All you have to do is look for the “Free Minion Inside” on the front of the following cereals:
- Honey Nut Cheerios
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch
- Lucky Charms
- Reese’s Puffs
- Trix
- Cocoa Puffs
- Golden Grahams
As if finding a toy isn’t fun enough, while you are eating you can play fun games that are on the back of the box! It’s like a win/win!
It’s time to find the 7th minion! But the prehistoric minion can only be found in General Mills cereal exclusively at Walmart! We picked up two of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for our minion search. Out of all the cereals you can find the toy it, it was the only one in stock at our Walmart! We got two different minions in our boxes, but none of them were the prehistoric minion….guess that means we will have to keep looking. I am sure my kids will “suffer” through more toy finding at breakfast!

I remember loving reading the back of cereal boxes and playing the games, maybe as much as the toys inside!
How exciting, we will be looking out for these boxes of cereal for sure, my kids are so into there minons and with the movie coming out very soon they are excited to get there hands on anything minion.
I loved getting cereal toys in my box when I was a kid! It is so much fun to dig through all the cereal and find a toy. I got a Flinstone car, and Koolaid packs. , My son got a Digital watch in a box of Honeycomb cereal. He also got an ApoleJacks Nintendo Mario Maze.
