We love (as you can even the dogs love it ) family movie night. We tend to sit on our living room floor (until that day we get theater seats) and have fun family movie nights. Thanks to General Mills, and our love for cereal of course, we were able to whip up some fun, tasty movie night treats and be rewarded with a free movie to enjoy. Seriously, how easy is that? For me it’s extra awesome, because our Publix has a current promotion of BOGO on the Reese’s Puffs, which is a favorite breakfast for our kids. So I can get the two needed codes for the price of one box of cereal! SCORE!! We chose to download Maramduke, because it is one of our family favorites! Of course as with any good family movie night, you need a tasty treat…preferably one that is easy to make. My kids love to eat the Reese’s Puffs Movie Night Snack mix when we have family movie nights. It’s a yummy combo of salty and sweet! We got our recipe from the side of the Reese’s Puffs box, but adjusted it a little to our preferences! How yummy does this look:
Reeses’s Puffs Easy Movie Night Snack Mix
Ingredients
- 1 bag (8 oz) Chex Muddy Buddies Chocolate Peanut Butter snack mix
- 3/4 cup Reese’s Puffs Cereal
- 3/4 cup salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together well and enjoy! Seriously, this is ready in less than five minutes and kids will love the sweet/salty combination as they watch their movie
