Living 5 minutes from the beach means I get to wear bathing suits and deal with hot weather, which in turn means tank tops, lots of tank tops. Shaving is a necessary evil to pull off either of those looks (well for me at least). There have been many a times I have ended up with the horrendous red bumps and very painful/itchy underarms for sharing too fast, not using the right products. I definitely don’t want to keep making that same mistake.
Trust me, if you have never had an underarm that feels like it was rubbed raw with sandpaper, you are lucky. You will want to make sure it never happens and take proper precautions. Did you know as a result of shaving, underarm skin loses 50% more moisture (hence the times it has felt like I was sandpapering I guess), that of course can lead to dryness and irritation. That’s a good deodorant. It comes in four scents and my favorite is the Sheer Touch, though both the ones I received smell great. If I am going to be swimming in the salt water, I sure don’t want irritated underarms and Dove Clear Tone is making sure they stay in tip top shape. So, if you are shaving but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, because of irritation, why not try out Dove Clear Tone, it may be just the answer you are looking for!

Wow! I have never heard of this porduct from Dove yet! I am glad they made something like this. Has the results become evident for you?
I have one of the Dove varieties right now. It’s not clear tone but it’s Dove. I love them because they’re so soft and creamy!
I haven’t tried this kind yet, but my legs always burn after I shave and go in the ocean.
I was just scratching my arm, because it is itchy & dry… I’d better pick some up.
I use Dove too! I’ve never seen this variety though.
This is the brand I use and I really love the smell and it works.
This sounds great, especially for winter–even though I’m not wearing tank tops, I do get superdry skin and could use the extra moisturizer.
