Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure are two parks I hope to take my kids to someday. When I had the chance to go to both of these parks during the Brave, Cars Land Event I didn’t know what to expect aside from excitement. I had the chance to experience so much while there it’s hard to even put it all down into words. After having spent two days at the park I want to make sure to tell you why I think it’s important to make it a multi-day trip….or show you rather.
If you make it a multi-day trip you have more a chance to see this:
The parade of characters over on the Disneyland side made yours truly here even tear up. If you are rushing around and trying to do everything in one day chances are you will miss some of the fun exhibits, parades and not have near enough time to ride all the rides.
If you make it a multi-day trip you have more photo opps:
What’s Disneyland without character pictures. If you are trying to do both parks in one day the photo opps may pass you by.
If you make it a multi-day trip you may have a chance to experience these places:
The new Cars Land is so busy that if you are only there for one day you may only get to experience it and not places like Carathay Theater
Last, if you make it a multi-day trip you won’t be too tired to enjoy this:
Disney’s World of Color show is AMAZING. You see the hats my friend Mellisa and I are wearing? They are great on their own, because you press a little button and the ears light up and change color. However, the really spectacular part is when you are at the World of Color show, all the ears go in sync with the show, so not only do you get to watch the show that will have your mouth hanging open you see hundreds of Mickey ears changing color together with the show. Check out this clip from the show (and then try to tell me it’s not impressive)..
To truly immerse yourself and experience both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure I definitely say your trip needs to be a multi-day trip. I spent one day in each park and still felt like I needed a few more days to really get everything done. The experience was amazing and surreal and I hope one day to take my kids to this magical place.
For my other Wonder of Color clips check here and here.

I love your video!! That was such an amazing show and I with you I would love to take my kids someday. Our hat picture is fabulous..LOL!
Yes, it is a multi day thing for sure! We are going for a week in October – 4 days at the parks!
We always do park hopper passes when we visit Disneyland and California Adventure. I also make sure to hit the parks on weekdays so there are less crowds. It always works well!
I haven’t been, but when I do it will be for a few days.
those pictures are so great. I love the Color of Wonder picture of Arial

A mulit day trip is very important, wish we could afford more than 2.
I can’t wait for the day(s) we can take our kids. Just waiting for them to get a bit older.
I agree, trying to pack it all in in one day makes it less fun.
We have never been to Disneyland, but do park hoppers at Disney World every year.
Wow looks like so much fun! 🙂
