Cooking With Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar

I love to cook and it’s always fun to experiment with products you’ve never tried before. For me one of those products was Nakano Rice Vinegars. I use vinegar in some things but have never really used it in a main dish so this was definitely intriguing to me. When my package arrived I opened it to find I had the original and roasted garlic flavor. How did they know me so well, I love all things garlic so this was going to fit my cooking needs perfectly. After deciding to make the Asian Chicken Nuggets and Garlic-Ginger Stir Fry I got to cooking.

Cooking Vinegar

Both recipes were fairly easy which is important to me. The adults and teenagers ate up both meals without hesitation asking if there was more. The kids were a harder sell, I think the ginger in the recipes kind of turned them off from it. I loved the flavors added when using the Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars. They definitely make for a great marinade and I am looking forward to trying some other flavors and recipes down the road. They are definitely a healthy way to add a little splash of flavor.

Nakano not only makes cooking tastier but they are encouraging people to live a healthier lifestyle in their Nakano 60-Day Splash it on, Step it up Challenge.  On June 25, 2012 Nakano launched a 60 day challenge to hopefully help people make healthier lifestyle and food choices.  First prize will be a year long gym membership and if there are over 1 million steps gained during the challenge they will give out a second first prize.  Second prize receives six personal trainer sessions while third gets a Nakano workout bag.  That’s not all they have going on, check out their Splash for Cash where subscribers have the chance to win $150 each month and you get a dose of tips and recipes.  Recipes to your inbox definitely makes life a little easier.

I am looking forward to trying Nakano on other dishes, who knows what kind of creations I will come up with.  Please don’t forget to follow Nakano on their Facebook Page andTwitter handle.
