The follow up to the widely popular movie, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, hit theaters today. Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 is one my family and I have been aching to see since the first trailer we came across. Having loved the first movie we definitely have high hopes for this one. While we can’t make it today, opening day, we are planning to check it out this weekend and I just have an inkling we will not be disappointed.
Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering comedy left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he saved the world when he thought he destroyed his most infamous invention–a machine that turned water into food, causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. Flint learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals – “foodimals”! Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheesespiders, and other foodimals to save the world.
The movie features the voice talents of: Bill Hader, Will Forte, Cody Cameron, Kris Pearn, Anna Faris, James Caan, Kristen Schaal, Terry Crews, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, and Benjamin Bratt.
