Looking for an easy crowd pleaser or simple party dish that won’t cost you an arm and a leg and people will love? Look no further this Sausage and Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños recipe. This is a party favorite where ever we go and there is never a crumb left. I got this recipe from one of my husbands friends. All I can say is thank goodness because it is one of our all-time favorites now. I love that it only requires four ingredients, because that means it’s easy, cheap, and delicious.
Sausage And Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños Topped With Bacon
Easy, Cheap and Delicious Party Dish - Stuffed Jalapeños
Ingredients
- 20 whole Jalapeños
- 20 thin slices of bacon
- 16 ounces Jimmy Dean Sausage original, mild, or hot depending on your taste
- 8 ounces Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese
Instructions

cut of stem of jalapeños
-
Slice the jalapeños in halves
-
remove seeds and membranes of the jalapeños
-
fully cook sausage
-
mix cream cheese in with the sausage
-
make sure it is evenly blended

remove from heat
-
stuff each jalapeño half
-
cut the bacon in half
-
top each stuffed jalapeño with a half bacon slice

preheat oven to 400 degrees
-
cook until bacon is crispy
Recipe Notes
If bacon is not getting crispy to your standards try and put the oven on broil and watch carefully til crispy.
You can also cook on the grill. Instead of using half bacon slices use a thin whole bacon slice and wrap the stuffed jalapeño half and secure the bacon with toothpicks on both ends. cook until bacon is crispy to your standards.
