I got play Secret Santa for a fellow blogger through Mom Central & JCPenney blog tour. This was such a fun project to work on this holiday season. I was the secret santa to Cindy from Akron Ohio Moms. I loved that secret santa got a little more personalized and we could actually hear who was behind the gift that arrived.
I have to say I didn’t give my secret santa much to go on, I like for them to pick something out of a wide array of things. I just gave them a couple categories I liked and wanted to see what they came up with. And this is what arrived for me:
Now my lighting doesn’t do it justice but it is the Jillian in the Nicole by Nicole Miller line of handbags. If you know me you know I am a purse girl! I may or may not have squealed a tiny bit when I opened my gift and saw a new bag to add to my growing collection of handbags. I love the blue because it isn’t too light for fall/winter nor too dark for spring/summer. This is truly a year round purse. Not to mention Nicole Miller is one of my absolute favorite designers. Double score!
The QR code came with the gift, I scanned and got to listen to the message left from the blogger who had me as their recipient. I really enjoyed the personal touch JCPenney allows with these QR message codes. This is such a fun way to send a gift during the holidays. With so many items to choose from when gift giving during the holidays as well as a way to personalize it, this is a great idea! Especially if you have family you ship gifts to, think of the smile it will bring to their face to hear your voice. Now off I must go to change out my purses, things like this are what I enjoy in life.

Toni so glad to hear your secret santa turned out great! I work at JCPenney and I love the Nicole Miller handbags myself. I also love the QR stickers what a fun way to send someone a message for the holidays. I did one for my nephew in Chicago…as I am in Phoenix. He is only 2 years old I cant wait for him to hear it 🙂
