I still remember walking into work that morning, not knowing what had happened and seeing the faces of all my co-workers in shock….I remember seeing the second plane crash into the tower on the staticky t.v. and wondering why someone would do this….I remember hearing about the plan hitting the pentagon and wondering how much more we would have to take…..I remember hearing about the heros on flight 93 that sacrificed their lives to save others….I remember the firefighters, police officers, medical doctors that worked countless hours to pull those still alive from the rubble….I remember seeing the trade centers crash to the ground and crying over all the lives that were lost…I remember a wonderful president who stood strong for his country and has done what he could to avenge all those that had to suffer in this attack…I remember crying for the children who lost parents and parents who lost children…I remember thinking this is not fair why did this happen…I remember a president getting all of America to join together and stand as a UNITED country…Never forget 9/11 and all the things that went with it!

Thank you for sharing. I know a lot of people are against Bush, but he did so much good for our country at a time we really needed it. I shared my experience at sweetnsassygirls.blogspot.com
Yes, I remember that incredible feeling of unity too.
It was a terrible day. One none of us will ever forget. But, there was that shining hope as we came together as a nation… one nation, under God.
Amen! :*)
I too remember exactly where I was, exactly what I was doing and exactly who I was with when I heard the news. I think it’s one of those days that we will never ever forget.
I can’t believe its been 7 years!! I remember how united the country was…it was such a good feeling.
AMEN! So few people respect Bush anymore. He will always be a hero to me. The images and feelings of that day will never go away. Hopefully we’ll always have presidents who are strong enough and with enough conviction to do the right thing!
It’s hard to read people’s memories of that terrible day, but so important, I think. Thank you for telling us about it.
