Summer is here, but that doesn’t mean we are out enjoying the beach each day, sometimes weather (or my work) will keep us indoor for a day. That used to mean a lot of “Mom I’m bored” moments. This summer, thanks to kids shows on Netflix, those moments are very few and far between! We all have our own profiles on Netflix so the kids can taylor their profiles to their favorite shows and movies. Of course with all the fun “old school” cartoons I may have a little influence on their “To watch” lists.

- Magic School Bus
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Danger Mouse
- Inspector Gadget
- Jem and the Holograms
- Super Mario Bros.
- Scooby Doo
- Cat In The Hat
- Garfield

Of course, sometimes my kids roll their eyes at my likes and want something a little more “new school” like:
- Gallina Pintadita (Now streaming in Spanish!)
- Bindi’s Boot Camp
- Some Assembly Required
- Dragons: Race to the Edge: Season 1
- Liv and Maddie
- Some Assembly Required
No matter, what their preferences, there are so many kid shows on Netflix, this summer should have way less “I’m bored” moments. Instead it can be filled with pick your favorite show moments, family tv snack night moments, or even it’s quiet time with a movie moments.
There are so many kids shows on Netflix to choose from! Plus, with new shows and movies coming to Netflix each month, kids have a whole world of entertainment at their hands! I don’t know about your family, but when mine all sits together to enjoy a show or a movie, it ends up being filled with some of the most special and cuddly moments. So, this summer, take time to enjoy Netflix on those days you can’t or just don’t feel like getting out!
What are your favorite Netflix shows to watch together as a family?

Inspector gadget and Jem was my favorites growing up, I even had the Jem doll. Awesome to see that Netflix has these so now my kids can enjoy these classic shows.
