There is something about teaching my daughter how to be a strong female and watching her take those teachings to heart, even at the young age of 9, that makes me realize I am doing it right. I want her to always know that she can do whatever she puts her mind to! Thankfully, it’s not just me encouraging her to do what she dreams she can do, but companies like COVERGIRL are supporting that life lesson as well through their #GirlsCan Campaign!

Information about the COVERGIRL #GirlsCan Campaign

  • The COVERGIRL #GirlsCan campaign promotes the empowerment of women by encouraging them to break down barriers and turn “can’t” into “can”
  • COVERGIRL #GirlsCan mascaras come in 2 varieties at Walmart everyday low prices: COVERGIRL Flamed Out Mascara and COVERGIRL Professional All-in-One Mascara
  • COVERGIRL is turning “can’t” into “can” by donating $50,000 to Dress for Success®
  • The COVERGIRL #GirlsCan displays can be found in the cosmetics section of your local Walmart
  • Visit and watch the video to learn more about #GirlsCan at Walmart.

I love that they are pushing our girls to be strong and push for their dreams. Regardless of what life throws their way, to remind them that “Girls Can” is why I love COVERGIRL. For a limited time, look for the specially marked pack of COVERGIRL Flamed Out mascara and Pro mascara on the #GirlsCan display at your local Walmart! As part of my support I am using the mentioned Flamed Our mascara as well as some of my other favorite COVERGIRL products to show you that sometimes less is more. Check out the products I chose for my look:

To make it even better, as if makeup fun has any reason to get better, COVERGIRL is donating $50,000 to Dress for Success®, an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

A company that makes me feel good when I use it and is helping others to make their lives better is a winning company in my opinion! I know I loved having my #GirlsCan moment of being told I could do it, when I started this blog. It wasn’t something I took lightly, but thankfully I had a ton of support and have shown my daughter (and sons) that as long as you put the effort forth and believe in yourself
