It’s been warm here since March, I mean in the mid 80’s somedays. So, of course, that means we want to cool off. Unfortunately, mother nature hasn’t chatted with our ocean it’s still freezing, so we have to find other ways to stay cool. One of our favorite “cool” activities is enjoying a cold, sweet treat. Right now, Publix wants to help you enjoy your favorite cool, sweet treats and save a little bit of money. For every $20 you spend on the Unilever brand ice cream which includes:

So, there is something for everyone! For our cold treats, we headed to our local Publix and picked up just a few (or more than a few if I am honest, hey it’s “Sweet Treat Savings” time, so it’s time to stock up).
I got something for everyone in the family to enjoy. For my husband and myself, I picked up some Breyer’s Ice Cream in Butter Pecan and Rocky Road and some single serve Ben & Jerry’s. Ice cream is great in a cone in the house where it’s cool or in a bowl when you want to sit outside and watch the sunset but don’t want to risk it melting all down your hand! I love the single size Ben & Jerry’s for a movie night in. The are the cutest little ice cream containers, and right now they are $1.00 each at our local Publix, not a bad deal!
My daughter loves when we bring out the Popsicles. With several flavors to choose from, they are a great treat for her to enjoy when she is out or inside. And they are even better when she has friends over; there is nothing like sharing a cool treat with friends.
For my boys, I grabbed up the Magnum Double Chocolate Vanilla bars and the Klondike Snack Size Bars. These are perfect for them, because along with being DELICIOUSLY good (I mean chocolate and ice cream, you can’t go wrong), they are easy to eat while they are busy gaming.
Next time I am going to be sure to pick up some Good Humor bars (my daughter loves the strawberry shortcake) and some Breyers Gelato Indulgences. Even better is I will be able to get a $5 gift card because let’s be honest, I won’t get out of there with less than $20 in yummy products! Thanks to Unilever and Publix for joining forces to offer these sweet treat savings on our frozen favorites!
