A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to screen the first two episodes of Outlander, Time Warner Cable’s new original series on Starz. On August 9, my little secret, was out for the world to see (or the ones who have Starz), as Outlander made it’s debut!
As I’ve said before, when I saw the first two episodes of Time Warner Cable’s series, “Outlander“, and from the first minute I was drawn in! It was so much fun being able to “go back in time” as Claire steps back in time. I think my favorite moment of the first episode (wont’ be telling you my favorite of the second because this is a no spoiler zone) was the minute she stepped through time. It was serious and yet comedic, at the same time.
About the Outlander series:
Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
I know this series is quickly going to become my “me time” as it’s not exactly the kind of series you want to watch with kids in the room. It’s definitely geared toward adults, which is fine by me.
