Halloween is just around the corner and that means kids will be going door to door, trick or treating in hopes of bringing back some tasty treats. However, kids aren’t the only ones we will see out and about on Halloween. Every year, without fail, we tend to see people who bring their pets along for the fun, but they don’t usually get the treats, so this year it’s time to “Treat The Pups”.
Today, I am showcasing a fun craft for you to make, to give to those little fur people you may meet this Halloween (or those who come to your door if you aren’t out and about). A Howlin’ Halloween Goodie Bag is just what those pups will love! It’s super easy and uses some of my doggies favorite treats: Milkbone, Milo’s Kitchen, and Pup-peroni! Making the treat bags is super simple and kids will love getting in on the fun…so might your little doggie, though I can’t guarantee they will leave you any treats for the bags!
Simply pick out a few treats, grab a fun themed treat bag, print off the free printable, and assemble! It’s that easy! Here is the fun printable I created just for these doggie treat bags (click on it to open in a new page for printing purposes):
Once you have all your supplies, you simply take each treat and put into your Halloween bag. I like to put one of each flavor Milkbone, one Milo’s Kitchen Steak Grillers, and one Pup-peroni Orginal treats into each bag.
It’s a great assortment of treats that pups will enjoy! Even better, you can find them all in once place at your local Walmart or the Big Heart Pet brand page on Walmart.com where Pet Parents everywhere can purchase for the purpose of gift treating! My little guys were super excited about receiving their doggie treat bags! They definitely took the “Keep Your Human Hands Off” literally, as you can see Guido guarding his!
Of course, it’s always fun to see doggies dressed up, which is exactly why you should reward them with these goodie bags.
