Easy No Bake Cookies and Mini S’mores Pie Recipe #KrogerAPlusEats



Now that the kids are back in school, I get to hear all about their day when they get home. But before I get to ask them about their day, without fail they always say “Mom, I’m hungry can I have a snack?” Sometimes we have fruit on hand, other times it might be cereal, but lately I have been making them a sweet treat each Friday to enjoy.

Both are super easy to make and ready in just a few minutes from start to finish. First up are the no bake cookies. These cookies only have 8 ingredients and are made right on your stove top.


No Bake Cookies Ingredient List:

  • 8 tablespoons Butter, cut up
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Baking Cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 3 cups Quick Cooking Oats


To make the no bake cookies you start by putting your butter into a 6-quart pot over medium-high heat. Once it starts melting I add my milk, sugar, and cocoa. Stir continuously while it combines, then allow to come to a rolling boil for one minute, remove from heat. Add salt, vanilla, and Peter Pan Simply Ground Peanut Butter to the mixture and combine (make sure Peanut Butter is melted completely). Lastly, add the oats and stir until they are coated.

Lay parchment paper on a baking pan and add no bake cookies to the pan by the spoonful. Allow to set for 15-30 minutes until no bake cookies are firm. Although, I like to eat some of the no bake cookies right out of the pot while it’s hot and gooey (YUM!). This is a great (and tasty) snack for kids to enjoy after school.


Another, less time in the kitchen, more time with my kid’s snack are these Mini S’mores Pies. They are super easy to make and kids will love lending a hand in making these.


All you need for these mini s’mores pie is the Snack Pack Naturals in chocolate, mini pie crusts, and mini marshmallows. To make spoon the pudding into the pie crust and top with your mini marshmallows. You can enjoy just like that or pop under the broiler to brown the marshmallows a bit.
