**Let me preface this post by saying all the photos featured in this post are provided by Disney, thanks to a lightening storm and me not being home to unplug my iMac I am unable to get it to power up (cue HUGE tears), so I can’t show you the fun photos of me with the actors until it’s repaired*
During my LA adventure last month, I had the chance to check out the set of several Disney shows, one that I can’t wait for my kids to watch is Bunk’d. Bunk’d is the new show, which is a spin-off of Jessie. Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross have left the comforts of their New York Penthouse for Camp Kikiwaka, the place where their parents met as teens. They are CITs (Counselors in Training) and must learn the ropes to become the best they can be.
Zuri makes friends with an unlikely duo, Tiffany (an uptight camper) and Jorge (who likes to fib for fun). The only problem is the camp owner, Gladys. She has a rivalry with the Ross kids mother and she wants revenge so she’s out to get them. Along with their new friends, Emma, Ravi and Zuri adapt to their new “home away from home” and settle into their exciting new lives at Camp Kikiwaka.
We had the chance to screen an episode of Bunk’d during lunch and I found myself laughing as much as I know my kids will laugh when they have the chance to watch it! During the visit, we got to chat with the cast of Bunk’d . They are such a fun cast. We know and love the Jessie alums Karan Brar, Skai Jackson and Peyton List, they were such fun to talk to, you can really see this cast feels like family.
But we also got to chat with Miranda May who plays Lou, Kevin G. Quinn who plays Xander (go ahead and be prepared for girls to be crushing on him), Nina Lu who plays Tiffany and Nathan Arenas who plays Jorge. I loved them all, but sweet Nathan, grabbed my heart from the beginning. The first thing he said to use was “I am so nervous, but excited”. His character is hilarious! I can’t say enough about the cast of bunk, they were each put perfectly into the role they are playing and they are just as excited for the premiere as I am!
Bunk’d airs on July 31 on the Disney Channel right after the premiere of Disney’s Descendants! It’s definitely a show you and your kids will love. That’s what I love about Disney shows, they are a great way to bring the family together and enjoy a show that’s appropiate for everyone in the house! So, get your sleeping bags ready, your s’mores made and watch Disney’s Bunk’d when it premieres Friday, July 31 at 8 p.m. EST! Here’s a teaser for you to enjoy:
