Freschetta asked if A Daily Dose would be interested in trying one of their new items. Freschetta Pizza….Um yes please! FRESCHETTA® By the Slice is the new thing from Freschetta you will see in my freezer. Perfect for myself during the day when I am at home alone. You simply pop it in the microwave and voila, lunch for one in a moment.
Priced at $1.99 you can pick up a cheap and tasty lunch for yourself to have when you are craving pizza (which I crave quite often, it’s the Italian in me loving those carbs). It’s not too big an amount so you aren’t wasting but one will fill me up. Other’s may need to add something else into the mix, as I said it is only one slice but it worked for me.
I tried the chicken, spinach and mushroom style slice and considered those are some of my favorite toppings was impressed with the taste. You can either do it in the microwave or in a conventional oven, it has directions for both. I chose microwave since that is what sets it apart, ready quicker than most frozen pizzas out there. It tasted great however, I like my crust crunchy and it wasn’t so being cooked in the microwave. So it works when you are looking for that quick and tasty lunch but when I want my crunch I will stick to the oven (even it if takes longer).

- Six Cheese Medley
