Yep Harry Potter has taken me over…

So as most know I had never read any of the Harry Potter books or seen any of the movies, well that all changed within the last week. I have in the past 10 days, read the first three books and seen movie 5 (yes I know you should start with film one as well, but my hubby wanted to see it on the Imax screen while we were in Branson).

Can I just say that these have to be the most spectacularly written books I have read in a very long time! I suggest to anyone that you should read these books if you did not join in the craze from the beginning. A lot of people don’t read them because of spells, witches, and wizardry. However, I bet a lot of them have seen Disney movies like Aladdin, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, or Cinderella and magic is magic whether it is being played by a cartoon character or by a person in a movie.

So, if you are looking for a good book/series to read and you have not already read Harry Potter, go and get the first book (they are less than seven bucks at your local Walmart for the paperback). I guarantee you will be hurrying to get back and purchase the other six as well. Have a fun filled day and happy reading. By the way, I need to give a shoutout to Quincy, Moo, Mimi, and Wendi, who have gone on and on about how good these books were. Had it not for their constant ramblings I would never have picked a book up to begin with, so thanks, ladies. I look forward to more gabbing as I continue my new quest and discover more and more to share.
