are you still dealing with this kind of shit?? I’m so sorry Toni that you have to have this negativity in your life. Keep your head up…we’re not all like that!! 🙂
Kudos! 🙂 I agree. I’m guilty of having an “ineedtocomplainandbitchrightnow” moment on the blogosphere. But, not too many I hope. 🙂
“All we need is love”.
UGH!!! Seriously are we not all adults???! I agree with you 110%!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven’t really been touched by any negativity (at least that I know of,) but I’m with you all the way.
Yikes! Sounds like there’s stuff going on I’d rather know nothing about!
Well said, Toni.
I like your spunk. 🙂
I live by the quote “be the change you want to see in the world” but in this case, it’s “be the change you want to see in the blogosphere” and you, Toni, are paving the way.
Very well said, Toni! I fully agree.
~hugs~ I gotcha.. it’s hard!
What is sad is that women are this way everywhere. Whether it be in bloggy land or the real world; women are horrible and petty to one another everywhere. Sad but true.
I have to admit, my latest blog entry might come off petty. However, it is completely factual and professional. There is so much design competition out there, that it is important for me to get a little petty and let everyone who stops by know why they should choose to have a design done by me. So, for that reason (building business), I sort of had to get a little petty. :o(
All of that aside, I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with drama. I can’t imagine why anyone would be ugly to you. You have an awesome blog and are super active. It seems as though you work very hard on your blog and reviews. More power to ya girlfriend! Haha.
preach it sister!
Wow, I hope to continue missing all of that!
We are all so different, what is the point of competing? Having all of you out here to talk to is what makes blogging so satisfying…
Great post, Toni
I guess I don’t see it since my blog is only read by a few people. I just post nonsense about me and my family. I just don’t get why people would need to be that way.
I haven’t had the displeasure of blogging nastiness yet, (and hope not to ever). I’m sure things will resolve for your Toni, you’re such a nice person…don’t let anyone change you!
I agree–it’s really too bad that some people have to add their negative opinions. Most of the time, blogs have been–for me–a fabulous, warm place for sharing. I hate to think of my retreat becoming nasty. Hopefully–for you–the support and the good stuff can outweigh the negative.
As far as I know, I have missed all of this (although, it could be going on behind my back and I am just unaware :). It sounds very unpleasant and somewhat like the PTA.
Sorry you are dealing with this. I have not had any nasty run-ins….yet but keep hearing about them all over the net.
Can’t we all just get along??
Blogging is so much fun…I’m sorry you’ve had this happen. Let’s just all get along and do our thing!
big hug, mean girls just grow up to be mean women!
You know I feel the same way… people are spiteful, jealous and too competitive! This isnt a competition, its supposed to be fun!!! HELLO!!!
You are taking the high road, thats all you can do!
I haven’t had a single problem with anyone in the bloggy world! I am sorry you are encountering negative stuff, Toni! Don’t let it ruin your fun!
Well said! Why does there have to be haters out there?! Sheesh, people. We’re all grown-ups… lets act like it!
Wow, are you still dealing with this? I haven’t encountered this kind of interaction in the blogging world, but I certainly have dealt with in my personal life. So I can relate.
I enjoy visiting blogs and leaving comments. I try to be supportive of everyone.
We’ve had a conversation about this before and my advice still stands. Remove yourself and just let it go.
sorry that you are having to deal with crap…you dont deserve it at all…keep on doing your thing and ignore the meanies–dont give them the attention they [sadly} need.
Take it from me, take some time off even if it is a day and just re-analyze your bloggy obligations and ins and outs and weight the good and the bad out and get rid of the bad NO MATTER WHAT it is not worth it to let someone anger you
I totally agree with you Toni, I haven’t even been in the bloggy world very long and I already see it so much! It is sad. But we just need to stick together!
I am so lucky to this point this has not happened to me. I think that we are all people and moms and it is important for each of us to lift up each other, support each other and try to make each others day the best way we can, with a funny story or a smile or if you blog and need a hug your readers should jump in a give you that hug because you are going to need one some day.
Here is my SoccerMom HUGGSS to you!
Good Luck
I know that I use my blog to blow off steam and that means that I complain and bitch sometimes. So for that, I apologize. If you’re dealing with personal targets, that’s awful and I’m really sorry.
Toni…you are amazing! I heart you lots!
Holy cow, I’m obviously missing something. *hugs*
Fortunately, I don’t have to deal with it in bloggy land BUT I do have to deal with it coming from hubby’s brother (and his wife), it makes me sick!
UGH! You poor thing…sorry you’re having to deal with people that are apparently still stuck in the high school mentality… I consider myself lucky that I haven’t encountered anything like that – hope it stays that way…you’re right, blogging should be fun…it’s not a competition, it’s just a venue to vent and share and interact with ‘like’ people.
