As many of you may know that have been reading my blog, my mom back in November was diagnosed with breast cancer. That was one of the hardest things I have had to come to term with in my life. Wonderful women everyday are having to deal with breast cancer and it is so unfair. Anyways, my mom is doing well, she had her second chemo treatment yesterday and when I talked to her this morning she was doing extremely well.
She has experienced very little side effects from the treatment thus far (though she is starting to lose a bit of her hair). *On a side note I have seriously considered shaving my head if she completely loses her hair* After each treatment she has to have a round of shots, some to boost her white counts and some to boost her red counts. She does get back aches from those. So please continue to keep her in your prayers as she still has a journey ahead of her.
Now onto the next thing, last week my aunt (on my fathers side) had to have a double mastecotomy, it caught me very off gaurd as well. I mean I am still trying to come to terms with my mother having it and to find out now my fathers sister has it well just threw me for a loop. She is at home recovering and from what my grandmother tells me she is doing well considering what she went through. She of course will have long road ahead but I fully believe both she and my mom will come through this with the strength and determination they both have.
So those are a few things I could use some prayers on if you are a praying kind and if not just some good thoughts will do as well. Please if you have any prayer request or needs list them here and I will add them to my prayer list for you. You can never have enough prayers right ๐

Good thoughts AND prayers headed your way:)
I will keep them (and your family) in my prayers. You are so wonderful to consider shaving your head!! It was very had on Mama emotionally to lose her hair (but she did love her wigs).
If my mom was going through that, I would totally shave my head with her. Of course, I have done it before though. I think it a great idea.
Your family is def. in our prayers.
I pray for your mom everyday!!
Just reminds us all we need to do self breast exams every month!
Toni,
I am praying for your mother, your aunt and your family!
I prayed for your mom last night. I’ll add your add.
Thanks for giving an update. I hope my MIL does as well as your mom is doing when she starts her chemo.
It really frightens me because I have two daughters and their chances just went way up of having BC at some point in their life.
Thank you for praying for Diane. ๐
Toni, I will keep your family in my prayers!

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh my goodness, I most certainly will.
You will all be in my prayers, Toni and I went through all of this 2 years ago and it’s all ok now. Hang in there!
Toni,
I have a Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet I wear. Whenever I see it, I’m reminded to pray for you and your family. My husband is a cancer survivor and I was his caretaker when he was going through chemo. I know what you’re feeling. Keep your chin up.
I’ll pray God sends you an extra hug.
by the way you have been tagged at my blog
I’m so sorry your going through this. I’ll keep your family in my prayers. Last year I walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Boston. It made me feel really good to do something like that.
My team (myself and 2 BFFs) raised almost $1,000.
You and your family have my thoughts and my prayers during this trying time.
I pray for radiant health peace and blessings as your mother travels this road. She does not walk it alone.
So sorry to hear about your aunt. But I’m praying for you and your family. God never sends us more than we can handle. The load may seem awfully heavy, at times, but you’ve obviously got a loving community supporting you. You have the strength to be the loving support your mom and your aunt need. God bless you and continue to be present to you. Amen.
I have been praying for you mom and will certainly continue too! It is so nice of you to offer to pray for your readers and I really do need it this week- my MS has flared up and I am confined to a wheelchair right now. I am trying to stay positive and prayers would certainly help! God bless you and your family!
your Mom has been in my prayers and now so will your entire family! ๐ Keep your head up and know that God is good!!
thoughts and prayers headed your way right now!
I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with your mother, aunt and your family.
