Hey Toni!
What a great topic!
My closest friends in the world have come out of blogging and now we even twitter with each other as well. When I first started blogging I never imagined that I would meet such amazing people, but the ladies I have become so close with are truly angels on earth and I am so grateful! Not only have I made the bestest of friends through blogging, but blogging and FaceBook actually let to the restoration of a friendship that once looked like it was gone forever – the power of the Internet, it really is amazing!

I keep thinking, how in the world does God bless me with such amazing women and friends?! I don’t know, but it’s an amazing thing and I’m so grateful he put you in my life Toni, although it wasn’t the greatest circumstances that brought us together, it was all in His timing.

i enjoy mt friends too.They are all unique in there special way. Love them all here and far away.
I am catching up on all your old tidbits. evidently I am behind on all of your material…Not gonna happen again cause I subscribed to you get U in my inbox.;)
Internet friends. I have this one IRL friend that i have. She helped me redesign my blog,she is a super sweetheart. She is friends with another girl, that I have yet to meet IRL but I can honestly say I could confide in her. I met her like a month ago and she is super sweet. i found out that she has been a surrogate mother before.She is a very generous giving person who does not get involved in a ton of drama. I am even going to send her a christmas card this season.
I am grateful for the internet. I had to move about 3 months ago, and the gal I stay in touch with has a blog, is on FB, and now thanks to me is on twitter too! Sometimes it feels as if I never left!
I love her.
Friends are important. I think it time to stop stretching myself so thin and start deepening some of my friendships…;)

Hmmm…
10+ years ago I had MANY, MANY friends.
Then I got divorced after 16 years of marriage.
All my friends — I repeat, ALL my friends turned their backs on me. Most of them thought I should just “stay for the money” or “stay for the security” or “just live with him but have your own life”. So when I didn’t take their advice and stay, they wanted nothing to do with me.
Since then, I have moved across the country. I have no contact with any of them. I hesitate when I get close. As a result, I have a few “men” as friends. I just recently started blogging and have enjoyed the camaraderie with so many women.
I’m still scared. You know the saying about twice burned.
