So it’s time for my oh so pointless ramblings here at A Daily Dose…have you noticed all the people jumping on the vlogging bandwagon? Â LOVE IT? Â I am still trying to drag my husband into some vlogging with me as all you have requested but it seems to be to no avail. Â However you know me I never give up…maybe I can seduce him into doing it! Â We shall see!
But today it’s all about how I failed and why I suck.  I shouldn’t share this with all of you  but in hopes that I am not the only one who is a big dummy I am, so go ahead and watch:
AHHH yes, yours truly does not know how to charge a car battery or change a flat let alone anything else. Well at least I can pump gas, yes??
So now it’s your turn, tell me some things you fail at that you probably should be able to do or should know! We mustn’t let Toni be the only one that has the moment of idiotness now can we??

Hmm. What can’t I do that everyone else seems to do extremely well on the web? I cannot figure out HTML at all. I tried several times at making a 3 column blog and failed miserably EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Finally got my friend to help me…she just did it for me. Thank goodness for friends.
And another thing I fail at. Webcams. I thought there would be an automatic record button since I had a webcam. NOooooo! there isn’t. You have to download software for that. Could I do that by myself? (downloading the software yes) The thing that I failed at was thinking my webcam already had a record button somewhere so I could tape my lovely self. LOL!
Anyway those are my failures. I also fail at the laundry and dishes daily. It is SO hard for me to keep in top of those chores. Especially when there is blogging to do, vlogging to do, and my novel to write. And just recently SKYPING at some of my blogger buddies.
Anyway, Don’t fail Toni. I can’t change a tire either. Probably couldn’t jump a battery either. 🙂

Well for starters I can NOT make a super awesome pop up vide like you did and I def. could not get the courage to talk to myself for over 5 minutes! BUT I can aslo not change a tire or battery or really anything…i can check the oil! and put gas in the car…and thats it!
Ahhh the beauty of a macbook, I am so untechnical if mac didn’t make it easy for idiots i could not have done the pop ups LOL

Great video. I can’t change a tire… that’s what roadside assistance is for! I can if I have to put jumper cables on a car, but they SCARE me. I do always have my own set of cables in my car, so if I ever need them someone can help me!

My fails are the same. I can not do ‘boy’ things at all! Luckily, Scott finds it adorable. LOL! I too would be screwed if I was alone and got a flat tire or the battery died. Sad thing is, I have zero desire to learn how to do them myself. I am totally fine not knowing, and Scott is totally fine being the man of the house. 🙂

We aren’t supposed to be able to do everything…and you don’t suck just because you can’t do something. Look at all the things you do well and congraduate yourself on those.
According to my husband I can’t do anything on the computer, but what does he know? I am writing this all by myself 🙂 So what if I don’t use the terminal?
Otherwise, I can’t fold a fitted sheet-or at least I can’t do it in a reasonable amount of time, which means I don’t do it. I can’t iron shirts very well and I don’t even bother to try ironing anything else. And, most recently, I can’t get out of bed this morning!
LOL I am laughing and only at the very amusing video- I can’t laugh AT you cuz I too, can not charge a car battery or fix a flat- I am scared of the battery thing because we had a car a long time ago that exploded on my husband- well, not right one him but it got on his arms and stuff- NASTY! & dangerous! So, I don’t attempt it!
I can not upload video to the internet even though I have a very pricey camera that does it all (Canon)- supposedly I am just supposed to hook it in but I have no idea how to youtube or anything else (embed, etc) I also can’t “Blog”…. Yet! I am trying to learn so I can start one- So, right now- not an easy task at all- I am oblivious to any and all things that have to do with blogging- I just recently learned how to “Tweet” – Yep, internet technology has passed me over these last few years as I have worked in the corporate world of business using the internet everyday… I obviously only used a very small part of it! Ya think!?
Well I do know how to charge a battery and change a tire (we had to learn in drivers ed in high school to pass the class) so I’m not a big failure in the car department but in the sewing department not so much.
I do royally suck at it buttons even are a challenge for me.
So my 11 year old daughter loves Project Runway and for her birthday she tells me she wants a sewing machine and I think cool maybe I’ve got a future Coco Chanel on my hands so I find one for her..now the fun part..I’ve never used one ever….So my husband and I spend 2 hours the other night just trying to get the thing threaded!!! even with the instructions!! I had to get on youtube and find a VISUAL how to before I even got it close to working..mind you this is a beginners sewing machine too. so my failure of the week is instead of taking guitar in high school (like I did) I should have done the smart thing and taken home ec.
(ah but then I wouldn’t be able to play Tom Dooley very slowly and with tons of mistakes!!..catch 22 I guess!
