Right before my trip to the Iron Man 3 Premiere, I received some goodies from ShootSac. I received one of their Tote and Shoot bags as well as one of their Lens Bags to review. To say I was excited was an understatement. From the minute I opened the package, I knew this was going to be perfect for this travel mom blogger.
The first item I used was the Tote and Shoot bag for my Iron Man 3 Premiere trip to LA. I wanted to see how it would hold up for this blogger, on the go. The first thing I noted was how much room there was. Plenty of space to store a computer, iPad, kindle fire, my wallet, all the cords in the main compartment. There were also two zippered pockets inside, two side drawstring pockets outside, as well as a back that doubles as a pocket or can be used to secure the bag to your carry on. Last, but probably my favorite picket is the easy access camera pocket. You put your camera in, lens first, and it’s easily accesible while you are on the go.
I love the fact the back pocket doubles as an easy way for you to secure it to your carry on. As someone who often has connecting flights, this makes changing planes so much easier on my back and shoulders. All I had to do was slide the Tote and Shoot over my carry on handle and it stayed in place through my airport treks. Another benefit to that, if you are an over packer like me and have a carry on and regular suit case, it can get a little tricky having something slung over your shoulder while pulling two bags. Having the Tote and Shoot slide over a handle makes that much easier to deal with.
The Tote and Shoot kept my camera easily accessible during adventures around LA. Since coming home, it has been the perfect way to carry my computer, camera and accessories for working and photographing around town. The outside of the bag is water repellant, so if it starts raining, your stuff should be okay while you get to dry shelter. Here are a few of the other specifications on the Tote and Shoot bag:
- Overall Bag Size: 17″w x 13.5″h x 6.5″d
- Internal Size: 16″w x 13″h x 5.5″d
- Shoulder Strap Drop: 13″
- Camera Pocket Size: 13.5″w x 13″h x 5″d
- Side Pocket Size: 4.5″ diameter x 9″h
Next up is one of my favorites for when I want to go out and just shoot some photos of friends, the beaches, my family, but don’t plan on getting online. It is the Lens Bag by ShootSac.
The lens bag comes ready for photographers, seasoned and newbies, to be able to take the best shot possible. I know before I had the lens bag, I would only take one lens when I wanted to take family photos or whatever, because I didn’t have anything that made them easy to get to. Thanks to the Lens Bag that problem is no more. With 3 pockets I can take 4 lenses total with me when I am headed out to shoot photos (one on the camera and three in the bag). That means I have more of a chance to get that perfect shot, since I have more lens options.
Not only does the lens bag carry your lenses and keep them protected, but it also has three snap pockets on the other side for things like keys, business cards, wallets, etc. You can carry the lens bag alone or use it inside your Tote and Shoot, a little extra protection for those lenses during travel. The swivel hook lets you wear the lens bag while you shoot, but keeps it out of your way. All your lenses will be right there the moment you need them. With the fun option of interchangeable covers, you can carry your lenses in style.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Tote and Shoot and Lens Bag from ShootSac. Whether you are an on the go blogger like me or a serious photographer, these are two items I definitely say are must haves. While they are both geared toward photographers, both have been perfect for my around town and across the country happenings. Check out all the designs/colors of both over at ShootSac, as well as some other products they offer.

Okay, I’m still insanely jealous of your Robert Downey Jr encounter, I mean movie premier! haha! I am meeting my oldest son in Europe next summer, and I’ve been trying to figure out how I can carry all the stuff I want in a well organized bag. I plan to take my personal camera and my husband’s old school camera, but I do not want to carry a huge backpack like he does. I will definitely keep this bag in mind when I am out looking. Thanks for the thoughtful review.
Oh I love that bag! I bought a camera backpack but it’s not working out as well as I hoped it would.
I definitely need something like this. I’ve been looking around and researching my options, I just need to make a decision.
The shiny one on the top reminds me of a fabric which snags easily. Is that the case, or is it durable?
Oh no it’s very durable. I love it.
What a neat camera bag. I love that you can fit 4 lenses in there. Now to get 2 more lenses, lol.
I’m looking for a good camera bag because I carry my camera everywhere these days…thanks for the info, I’ll check them out!
Nice! I am going to need something like this when the diaper bag days are over.
Look at all that storage! I love this bag and have been looking for the perfect one for my dslr. I love that your photos show how all the pockets fit your electronics. Thanks for the review!
It’s amazing how much it fits. Best camera bag I’ve owned and I’ve owned a lot LOL.
I like the concept but I can’t decide if my ridiculous need to tote around way, way, way more stuff than I need would fit in there.
Trust me because I suffer from that too, it fits wonderfully 🙂
I love this bag, it was the one you had at Brandcation, right? I need a bigger bag for my camera too.
Looks like a really nice lens bag! 🙂
This is such a cute bag! Hubby made me get a backpack but that’s easy for him.. I need to get a purse

I need a better bag for my new camera…Love all the pockets!
