Sometime I Just Have to Cry Out To Jesus

MusicSometimes it’s all I have in me just to cry out to Jesus.  Do you ever get that way?  You get so sick of what is surrounding you, so sick of stress, tears, anger, hurt, sadness, pain?  I know I do and when I get that way I simply fall to my knees and cry out to Jesus.  It’s not some big epiphany just something that brings me peace amid the chaos.

Let’s me know that despite what others say and do I can rest in the fact that I live my life for him, to please him and in the end that’s all that matters.  It’s so easy to get caught up in the moment and let your feelings get the best of you.  Here at a Daily Dose  most of my posts I pray about them before I publish.  You probably don’t want to even see how many drafts I have LOL.  Sometimes I type as I am angry, hurt because I want to get the feelings out but after I have finished the article I take a deep breath and either delete or save because it’s not who I am all the time just in that moment of frustration.

Of course there have been times and I am sure there will continue to be times when I post without thinking out of anger or frustration and every time I will regret that post but I am human yes??  However 99% of the time I will just pray and call out to Jesus about my posts just like I do about my life, I want people to see him through me.  I want people to know HE is who I run to when I have problems, He is who I call out too.

Lately it seems I have been doing a whole lot of crying out for so many things.  I have a knot in my breast that is not going away, though I am pretty sure it will be nothing.  Our financial situation could definitely be a lot better.  I am ready to be back in Florida with my family.  I am sick of having to work 5 nights a week and rarely seeing my husband.  Life sometimes just gets me down and when it does all I can do is turn and cry out to Jesus.

So today I thought I would share this song with you, one that reminds me to cry out to Him.  Cry Out to Jesus by Third Day.  By the way you should check out their song Consuming Fire as well, definitely another song that is on repeat on my iPhone.

I haven’t visited your site for awhile. I do however read your tweets. I,for some reason, came on to see your post after you tweeted about it. I can relate to that song so well. I have never heard it before. I really like the song even though I got teary eyed. I am so sorry that you are going through a rough time. I too have been feeling helpless for the last couple months. Mostly the song just says most of my troubles. I know that if you are reaching out to him that everything will be alright. I really believe that. Thanks so much for sharing this post. I hope that every area that is bringing you down gets turned around so you are lifted back up so you can feel better again.

I love this song. It’s what got me through each and every day when I lived miles and miles away from a familiar smile and when I thought my marriage was sure to end any second.

Cry out to Jesus in the good, the bad, and the impossible because He is the Alpha and Omega.

Toni your post just cried out to me today. I’m having one of those overly emotional days, and did the same thing. Belted out a post with all my anger and frustration, thought about it, and cleaned it up and chopped it down before I posted.

Although I’m not religious, I just wanted to say thanks for the post, it spoke to me this morning.

Sometimes crying out to Jesus is all you can do! It’s hard to smile through hard times. God knows how you feel. Just remember, you already have the victory!

Your post reminds me of an old song, “What A Friend We Have in Jesus.” … All our sins and greifs He bears. He hears, and understands.

Jesus is always there, not only when we need to cry out. I try to talk to the Lord kinda like I would to my earthly family members, often.
