and it had a wonderful turnout! There was about twentish people there out of a class of about 30! So a big majority of his class was there. Now my class had a graduating group of 200 + and I think my husband still had more show up to his reunion. Yep Gulf Breeze High was a very spirited school, but obviously Hartford is a bit closer knitted than we were. But when you are graduating with 29 other people I would venture to say you really get to know each other well.
Well anyways, the luncheon was for everyone (parents and children). We went to the high school grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and ate them in the school cafeteria, which I personally thought was pretty neat. The Kids of course got to play on the playground. Here are a few pictures of my rugrats having a good time
After the lunch my husband and some of the guys went to play golf then after we all went out to eat dinner and hit the bars and a club. Here are some pictures from the night of me and my husband and then some of his classmates. Just a few to note…the one with the really red face is my husbands cousin and the ironic thing is when he went golfing he was the only one who put on sunscreen the whole time and he got the worst amount of sun. The bearded man is one of Brent’s really good friends, in fact he was his roommate when we got together and he never lets us forget the nights we kept him up from too much noise (I have no idea what he is talking about), he told me several times during the night that my hair was beautiful and he really liked it and I had the perfect neck for it lOL oh and his wife thinks I am the most beautiful woman on the planet (yes I relished this, now if it was him drunk talking or actually being honest I am not sure but I take the compliments anyway I can get them). The rest of the pictures are just random ones of the evening.
And last was the picture I snapped the morning after when he was none too happy that I woke him up. Hey it wasn’t my fault he didn’t stop drinking right, a hangover is no excuse to not take your half of the parenting and I am not sure he like me much at that moment. Yes this is one of those times I ran after snapping the picture LOL.
