In just a little over two weeks Valentine’s Day will be upon us. I love Valentine’s Day, the reds and the pinks and the romance. Swoon! This month, for my Netflix Stream Team monthly post, I wanted to share some movies that will help you count down to Valentine’s Day!

Can’t Buy Me Love
One of our favorite doctors from Grey’s (I’m still mad at Shonda for killing him off) wasn’t so popular before his days at Grey-Sloan memorial hospital. In Can’t Buy Me Love we follow Ronny Miller, a nerdy outcast, as he offers a popular girl his life savings to date him for a month in hopes to launch him into popularity. Find out what happens when feelings get a little more intertwined than either of them planned.
While You Were Sleeping
Sandra Bullock plays a transit worker who rescues a commuter, whom she has had a crush on for years when he falls onto the train tracks. She pretends to be the comatose man’s fiance while ultimately falling for his brother.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is based on the novel written by Truman Capote. We follow a NYC socialite, played by Audrey Hepburn, who falls for a man who moves into her apartment building. A classic!
How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days
This romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey is a fun one to watch with girlfriends. Watch as Andie Anderson (Hudson) takes on a writing assignment about “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” while Ben Berry takes on a bet telling his friends and work competitors that he can win any woman fall in love with him in 10 days. With two totally different plans, will either be able to pull off what they originally set out to do?
So there are the first four movies in my list of fourteen, for the rest I won’t include photos because I know you just came for the info :). Here are 10 more movies to watch as you countdown to Valentine’s Day!
- Must Love Dogs: Follow along as two people (played by John Cusack and Diane Lane) tryout online dating for the first time.
- Safe Haven: A new girl comes to town, but has a mysterious past. Will her past keep her from finding love?
- Beauty and The Beast: This live-action remake of the Disney classic is just what you need for a family night in!
- Chalet Girl: A rich upper-class boy (with a snobby family) falls for a poor girl, what could possibly go wrong?
- A Cinderella Story: A twist on the Disney classic. A girl has to scrub floors at her dad’s (now her stepmoms) diner and falls for the popular guy at school. Will he return her feelings?
- Bridget Jones’ Baby: Bridget Jones is back and things are a bit complicated as she is pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is. Be ready to laugh as you watch the potential father’s fight for her affections.
- 13 Going On 30: This fun movie stars Jennifer Garner, who wishes to grow up at her 13th birthday. Her wish comes true but life isn’t exactly as she expected. Watch as she navigates life and falls in love with her best friend Matty along the way.
- Leap Year: Follow the journey as a woman (Amy Adams) travels to Ireland with a plan to propose to her boyfriend.
- Love, Wedding, Marriage: Watch as newlyweds (Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz) deal with parental drama in this romantic comedy.
- Armageddon: All I can say about this one is get your tissues ready!
