I live on the Florida gulf coast, and LOVE seafood! Anytime I have the chance to eat it…you can bet I will! However, having grown up on the beaches and loving seafood, doesn’t make the task of making it any less daunting. I have my set ways of cooking certain seafoods and that’s what I stick with. It’s boring..but I don’t mess it up. Lately, though, I have been wanting to venture out of the tilapia seared with hot sauce norm.
To gear up for the event, I was asked to try my hand at the Popcorn Shrimp Dippers, using Seapack Popcorn Shrimp, Sour Cream, and Mrs. Dash seasonings. The best part about this dish is how simple it was. Being a busy mom, I like simple. The shrimp were cooked according to package directions (450 degree oven for 9-11 minutes).
While they were cooking, I was able to whip up the dip. The dip took no more than two minutes, so I was able to make it while the shrimp were cooking and have a tasty appetizer in less than 20 minutes. That includes the time it took to gather the ingredients, preheat the oven, cook the shrimp, mix the dip, and put everything away.
As part of the Sam’s Club “Seafood to Savor” program, I am going to enjoy trying more dishes over the coming weeks at my local Sam’s Club. They are going to be sampling so many seafood dishes, I fully expect to try much more in my own kitchen over the coming weeks.

I love that I can pick up the products each week, right after I enjoy the sample, while I am at Sam’s Club….not to mention many more things I “need” when I am there. That’s why I love Sam’s, they are simplifying my life by having so much of what I need in one place. Now they are even giving me new recipes, to try and enjoy!
After making the Popcorn Shrimp Dippers, for myself and my mom, I am sure they will be a hit with the rest of the family. I’ll definitely be heading back to their samplings to try out each recipe, and pick up the guide, so I can make it at home. I have a feeling my seafood dishes are about to expand and that is going to make this seafood loving girl, extremely happy. Which dish mentioned above, from the Sam’s Seafood To Savor program, do you think you’d like to try your hand at? What might you add to the recipe featured today, to make it your own?

We’re a house full of seafood lovers, and as the kids continue to grow and eat larger portions, shopping at Sam’s Club is becoming a necessity.
I love popcorn shrimp. I might add some dill to the recipe.
Sam’s Club has everything! I love visiting their demos, I always find great new products that way.
These look so good. What a great appetizer for a party!
my family love sams club, we also go to Costco on occasion. They have great variety of foods for party hosting, we recently had a family picnic and had a lot of it come from sams club. The popcorn shrimp is good. I would probly spice up the dip a little.
