When I was growing up I DESPISED brushing my teeth. You would swear my mom was torturing me by making me do something that was meant to keep my teeth pretty and healthy. I did it begrudgingly but did the bare minimum meaning just brushing until I was old enough to understand the importance of brushing, flossing and swishing.
For me it was super important because I love all the foods that are great at destroying teeth (sugar, acidic grapefruits and lemons, etc.). So to keep my teeth I have to take good care of them, a task I should have cared more about growing up. I have naturally “weak” teeth meaning even when I started taking good care of them they were still prone to cavities and staining. I want to make sure my kids take great care of their teeth so if they do come by the bad teeth naturally they don’t have the cavities, root canals and all the stuff I have gotten to go through.
I am taking part in Mom Central’s So here’s to the next 30 days of rinsing away the germs to a fresher and cleaner mouth. Check back in a few weeks to see my thoughts on the rinse and how I think it affected my mouth.
