As you can imagine from this post and this post, we had a blast at the Bloggers Gone Coastal Brandcation. While this is the last post for now (I say that but it’s totally subject to change because I tend to remember stuff later down the road) there are no shortages of memories. I wanted to make sure to share with you a couple of the other big fun events we did thanks to some amazing companies. First up was the blogger olympics which was sponsored by Jambu Footwear. No it was not a marathon posting session to see who could go the longest but rather some very comical to watch events. We had scavenger hunt (I swear I almost died, just ask the lovely ladies watching from the balcony how fast I was booking it), a white house building contest (first place, what what!!!), a float relay race, a hula-hooping contest that I proudly came in second at, and a hula dancer clothes relay race. If I were not almost dying from running like a maniac I may have seriously died from laughter. Each of the events were so fun and hysterical at the same time. So a great big thank you to Jambu Footwear for sponsoring this event that helped me acquire my 1st runner up place medal, I may wear it everywhere I go. Check out some of the pics below:
The “official” final activity we did as a group, a big thanks to Circle PR, was head out on the open waters for the Dolphin Cruise. It was such a beautiful day and the weather was perfect since we left in the morning. We got to see so many of the local sites (have I mentioned I love living here) and enjoy time on the water with friends. As we traveled into the waters we were accompanied by some locals…the dolphins. I am such a lover of dolphins (do you see my tattoo above?), that even though I grew up here, they are always more beautiful each time I see them. We got to see them come up super close to the boat and swim around jumping out of the water to give us such a fun little show. I didn’t have my good camera so I didn’t get any photos of the dolphins but I did get a few shots to remember the activity by. As you can tell in one of them below, I was worn out but this whole weekend was worth it.
Last a big thank you to HotelCoupons.com without which this whole event would not have been possible either. Thanks to all the other sponsors noted in the first post as well, it truly was an amazing experience. After all, look at these faces, they speak volumes!
