So last night after hubby’s graduation we drove down to mil’s house so we could visit and go see the talked about Christmas lights show at the Hodo’s house. OMG it was fantastic. Anyone who is not a ridiculously long drive away from Van Buren, Arkansas should make the trip there to watch it. Heck even if you do live far you should go.
I am sure you all know the movie with Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito “Deck The Halls” well that is what this house was like except not tacky because they are not trying to be seen from space LOL and the music is not blaring it is actually on a radio station so you listen in your car while watching the lights. It’s just a family who obviously loves Christmas and want to share their love of it with others (not so sure their neighbors are too thrilled with the amount of traffic and the lights that go until 11 p.m. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
We are going to go back on Christmas Eve since hubby was not feeling well and didn’t get to go, heck I would go back even if he had gone. Traffic was bad as everyone seems to want to see this show but it was well worth the wait. Here is the video I took when we went, you need to watch it until the end, that is when the best songs are! Oh and we got a visit from Santa during the first song! Hope you enjoy watching this as much as I did!
