After School Snack

After school snacking just got easier, thanks to Hershey’s ready-to-eat pudding. We lead busy lives and between sports practices and homeworks, our time is pretty limited, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to treat my kids to something special when they get home from school. Not to mention, the first thing they say when they walk in the house is “Mom, I’m hungry”. So, my solution is a fun (and tasty) treat, Hershy’s Pudding S’more Parfait!

Hershey’s Pudding is available in two flavors at your local Walmart, and it’s made with real Hershey’s cocoa. To find it, just look for the “Make Each Moment A Little Sweeter” sign in the cold snack section.

Because we lead pretty hectic lives during the months of August through November, with sports galore, I am all about simplicity when I can get it. This Hershey’s Pudding S’more Parfait is made to fit in with the simplicity theme, while giving my kids a treat they usually only get to enjoy when we go camping.

Ingredients for s'mores parfait

To make the Hershey’s Pudding S’more Parfait you only need three ingredients. Either Hershey’s chocolate or s’mores flavored pudding, mini-marshmallows, and graham crackers. The kids will love having a hand in making these S’more Parfaits!

S'more Parfait Steps To make the Hershey’s Pudding S’more Parfait you start by putting some graham crackers in a plastic ziplock baggie. Let your kids have a blast pounding the graham crackers into an oblivion. Once it’s like sand texture (having a few big chunks are great for a littel added crunchiness) put it into the bottom of your cup. Next, layer mini-marshmallows on top of the graham cracker. Then add a whole pudding cup on top of the marshmellows. Finally finish by topping with more of the marshmallows and sprinkle some graham topping.

This snack is so tasty and easy, it’s a great way to let them unwind before starting the after school routine. Enjoy it together as a family and enjoy a little after school escape.
