Those you see there are my best friends. I have had best friends in the past who I would have thought would be there as a best friend forever but unfortunately they weren’t or aren’t. I have several very close friends who I could turn to in a moments notice and who are there for me but my best friends are there on an even deeper level that’s almost hard to explain.
My husband, the best friends I get to spend the rest of my life with. The one who loves me unconditionally and has never stopped even when I was unlovable (or at least I thought I was unlovable). He is the one who holds me when I need to be held. The one who tells me I am beautiful when I don’t see it in the mirror. He is the one who chose to be a wonderful father to our children. He is the one who accepts me faults and all and has never once tried to change me. He is the one who sticks by me when things get tough and is there to sit quietly when I have been hurt and just let me vent. I could go on and on about him being my best friend but no words seem to truly capture just how much my life is better because he is in it.
My mom, she is definitely my longest best friend, afterall she has been there for 32 years. She is the one who sacrificed so much for me growing up. She is the one who hugged me close when my heart had been broken. She is the one who gave advice (wanted or not) that I took to heart and remembered it. She is the one who when I could not walk for months after an accident (along with my grandmother) and took care of me. She is the one who prayed for me when I wasn’t making the best choices. She is the best friend who has loved me unconditionally the longest (32 years and 26 days as of today LOL). She is the one who knows everything there is to know about me for the last 32 years and has never judged but with a gentle hand lead me when I needed leading or encouraged me when I was headed in the right direction. Again words are simply not enough.
Brandy my best friend since 1st grade. We clicked and ever since then we have been best friends. WE have gotten into trouble together, stayed out of trouble together and made so many memories I could seriously write a book, though I think I will refrain from that as some of those things are not quite for public reading. Memories of Mootown crackers, cancun senior trip, the boys we dated. This girl and I have pretty much done it all together. We have shared laughs and tears, hopes and fears and I love her. Distance may keep us from seeing each other but when we do it’s like not a moment has passed and we are still right where we left off.
Sara, my sweet sweet blogging friend, turned best friend. A hard time in my blogging career brought us together. To say we are connected is an understatement. We are freakishly connected. I get sick, she gets sick. Something going on with her child, seems my child is going through that too. We think of things at the same time. And just recently a situation going on in her life is almost completely identical to something I went through myself. I swear she and I are connected like you hear twins are connected, we just aren’t the same age and have different parents. She is my cheerleader in this blog world and I would not keep on keeping on without her encouragement. She comforts me when I am sad, giggles with me when immaturity strikes (usually because it’s striking her at the same time) and gets angry on my behalf when someone is not being nice (that’s vice versa too). I am so glad I had to go through the trial in my life that brought her into it. I less than 3 that girl!

AWW thanks ๐
What would we do without our friends? And I feel kind of bad now that I didn’t include my hubby and mom, because they are two of my very best friends, as well. ๐
I would be nowhere without my friends, I would have not made it through so many things in my life so thankful for them ๐
